I have finished the pressure hull and lid. Only need to bond it in, install the 'O'ring seal and periscope mecanism
 I fitted electrical socket (servo for misslie doors, lights, thrusters, sound module) and an extra servo push rod seal for the missle. Also an inspection / ventilation hatch.

All the drainage hole scribed on the Typhoon hull are wrong! Wrong size and wrong position. I have to mark out the new location and cut them all out. Also position of the reactor water intake is wrong (too far back) and the tail is wrong.

Instead of using a screw to hold the two hull halves together, I am using a brass catch. This way I don't need to drill a hole in the hull and it much quicker and easier to separate the hull by the pool.
There was a big gap between the two hull halves which I had to fill with epoxy putty. Looks better now!

The Engel hull does not come with mouldings for the port and starboard towed array sonar.
So I made my own. First I made the frame work ... 
Then used epoxy putty as a filler .... 
Here I have sprayed some primer to show up the high and low spots. Still more sanding to do ....
